چکیده
Hydrogen sulphide (H2S), as a signalling molecule, regulates the process of plant growth and development. H2S is involved in establishment legume rhizobial symbiotic relationship, but little known about role during nodule senescence. We studied function senescence Glycine max-Sinorhizobium fredii system. Physiological biochemical methods were used to modulate nitrogen fixation, structure, senescence-related protein gene expression. Our results indicated that decreased senescent number, increased nitrogenase (Nase) activity ureide content, further promoted accumulation NO3−-N, NH4+-N, total N, which caused biomass late steps symbiosis. alleviated by maintaining normal fixation structure nodules. Meanwhile, expression levels NifH NodGS proteins N metabolic enzyme activities enhanced Moreover, stimulated metabolism-related genes Finally, regulated These findings suggested prolonged lifespan N2 delaying senescence, will be important for increasing soybean yield agricultural sustainability

Regulation and symbiotic significance of nodulation outer proteins secretion in Sinorhizobium fredii HH103.
In this work we show that the Sinorhizobium fredii HH103 ttsI gene is essential for the expression of the tts genes and secretion of nodulation outer proteins (Nops). Moreover, we demonstrate for the first time, to our knowledge, that the nod box preceding ttsI is necessary for Nops secretion. TtsI is responsible for the transcriptional activation of nopX, nopA, rhcJ and rhcQ. We confirm that t...
متن کاملThe Legume Root Nodule: From Symbiotic Nitrogen Fixation to Senescence
Biological nitrogen fixation (BNF) is the biological process by which the atmospheric nitrogen (N2) is converted to ammonia by an enzyme called nitrogenase. It is the major source of the biosphere nitrogen and as such has an important ecological and agronomical role, accounting for 65 % of the nitrogen used in agriculture worldwide. The most important source of fixed nitrogen is the symbiotic a...
متن کاملExogenous low-dose hydrogen peroxide enhances drought tolerance of soybean (Glycine max L.) through inducing antioxidant system.
Hydrogen peroxide (H(2)O(2)) functions as a signal molecule in plants under abiotic and biotic stress. In this study, the role of exogenous H(2)O(2) in improving drought tolerance in two soybean cultivars (Glycine max L. Merrill) differing in their tolerance to drought was evaluated. Plants were grown in plastic pots with normal irrigation in a phytotron. Four weeks after radicle emergence, eit...

The data presented in this article are associated with the article "Coupling of gel-based 2-DE and 1-DE shotgun proteomics approaches to dig deep into the leaf senescence proteome of Glycine max" (R. Gupta, S.J. Lee, C.W. Min, S.W. Kim, K.-H. Park, D.-W. Bae, et al., 2016) [1]. Leaf senescence is one of the important aspects of the life cycle of a plant that leads to the recycling of nutrients ...
متن کاملA pyrF auxotrophic mutant of Sinorhizobium fredii HH103 impaired in its symbiotic interactions with soybean and other legumes.
Transposon Tn5-Mob mutagenesis allowed the selection of a Sinorhizobium fredii HH103 mutant derivative (SVQ 292) that requires the presence of uracil to grow in minimal media. The mutated gene, pyrF, codes for an orotidine-5 - monophosphate decarboxylase (EC 4.1.1.23). Mutant SVQ 292 and its parental prototrophic mutant HH103 showed similar Nod-factor and lipopolysaccharide profiles. The symbio...
